Dr. Joshua Shieh is a third generation clinician who’s family holds a tradition of dentistry since 1937. He graduated in 2006 from Dr. MGR Medical University and returned to complete his Masters degree program in the subject of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2012. He currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at the Oral Rehabilitation Center, Grad Periodontics clinic at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and volunteers as a committee member at the Ontario Dental Association. A sanguine by nature with recreation en route to singing, innovative think tanking and motivation for young adults, he devotes and contributes everyday towards making small thoughtful changes to make the world a better place.

I have to start off with, wow! Farah is amazing. She’s friendly and very welcoming. She makes you feel apart of the floss and gloss family – from putting Netflix on the tv (letting you choose the show), too showing you were the coffee machine is to make yourself something to drink!I have been a few times to Farah and haven’t been disappointed yet. I’m very bad with my flossing and Farah took the time to sit there and show me the proper way to floss and explained to me in detail what can happen if I do not become a frequent flosser. She even gave me a doggy bag full of goodies to utilize at home. She helps keep those pearly whites shining at all times. Hats off to Farah and her team for making a business into a home. I’ve been going to a dentist and various hygienist”s for close to 15 years, till eventually the fear of pain, time constraints and just lack of care eventually made me ignore and neglect one of the most important part of our body we need every single day, our teeth. With poor care and lack of knowledge eventually, my teeth felt weak and my gums were consistently bleeding. While being in the neighborhood, thankfully I walked into Floss & Gloss Dental Hygiene Care. Not only is this place immensely clean and spotless, but my hygienist Farah Sheikh made me feel immensely comfortable while taking her time being supportive and explaining every single process. I’m very sensitive to pain, especially when it comes to my teeth, and if I were to be honest, I didn’t flinch once ! There were plaque stains on the top and bottom while immense tartar built up behind my teeth leading to my gums bleeding frequently. After carefully and painlessly going through each procedure, I honestly feel like I’ve got a new pair of teeth where I can confidently smile !What’s great is, since I wasn’t properly taking care of the hygiene when it came to my teeth, Farah took time out to even show me the correct and proper way to floss while even providing me with a little kit with a bunch of accessories within it.I would not only recommend Floss and Gloss and especially Farah to each and every single person, but suggest it as a routine place for frequent visits to keep your teeth healthy and white !Kudos to the entire team at Floss and Gloss Dental Hygiene and wish them all the best ! – 12/27/2016

Truly 5 star dental experience I have ever experienced in my life. Farah is a wizard with cleaning and whitening. Dr. Ali is extremely thorough and very gentle with his work. The office is extremely clean, very welcoming and I felt extremely safe due to the protocols taken to ensure patient safety during Covid 19. I have left my local dental office and prefer to drive a little to get to Floss and Gloss. Best Streetsville Dentist office in my eyes. – 8/28/2020
